We have a subsidiary company established in Canada (Quantic Technologies) that mainly focuses on
marketing our capability to carry out software development outsourcing subcontracts for North America market.
It also takes care of project management, logistic for on-site employees, off-site deliverables ...using its
own resource or in collaboration with local partners (e.g. Datalogic in US and Omron, PalSys, DR in Japan).
For off-site projects, Quantic takes care of all steps including project implementation, sustaining, project
management and delivery. The latter is often carried out with the support of Subsidiary Company or local partners
as mentioned above.

How and where does the company recruit new engineers?

Recruitment Sources: graduated Computer Science students from HCMC National University
(School of Natural Sciences and Poly-Technique Institute) and other universities
Recruitment Means: ads, references and job-offer letters

Are there in-house training programs for new engineers?
Yes, we have training programs for new hires.
Describe the training process
Company environment training: new hires will be transferred company’s regulation and teamwork organization.
Technical training: new hires will be trained with common technologies required by most projects. New and hot technologies
are also transferred to all designers periodically via seminars.
Is there formal classroom training?
Currently, we send designers/managers to attend software development and management specialized courses
organized by QAI - MPDF (India) at HCMC.
We also send our senior designers to attend AOTS trainning program in Japan every year.
How are engineers typically trained on customer products?
Send designers to work on-site at customers place to get experiences
Off-site training base on documents, slides, materials…etc. provided by customers

How are engineers typically managed?

Our staff is managed as project-based model. A project usually consists of 3-10 designers that lead by a team leader.
There is a project manager takes care of 1-3 projects. The project manager will report directly to board of directors.

Does the company comply with either ISO 9001 or SW-CMM?

We achieved ISO 9001:2000
in March, 2007, ISO 27001 in June, 2008 and CMMI Maturity Level 3 in May,
2008.
We also can follow
customized process required by customers.

How is the physical security of the building or work area maintained?

What policies are in place to protect intellectual property?

All employees must show necessary legal personal documents and certification before recruited and all of those documents are recorded at company as references.
Before a termination of an employee, access privileges to restricted area, systems or services and proprietary
information would be revoked (e.g. if the employee has accessibility to some systems as administrator, administrator
password must be changed). All sensitive materials would also be retrieved.
